Neurodivergence is a term used to describe natural variations in the way people think, feel, process information, and interact with the world. It includes conditions like Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Tourette’s, OCD, and others — but it is not limited to diagnostic labels.
Rather than seeing these differences as “disorders,” the neurodiversity movement recognises them as part of human diversity. Neurodivergent people often have unique strengths, ways of thinking, and needs — and may also experience challenges in environments not designed with them in mind.
We take a neuroaffirming approach, which means we work to understand and honour these differences without pathologising them.

No — as psychologists, we do not prescribe medication.
If medication is something you’d like to explore, we can provide a diagnostic report that you can take to your GP or psychiatrist for further discussion. We are also happy to collaborate with your existing healthcare team if needed.
Please note we cannot guarantee that medication will be prescribed based on our assessment alone. While our assessment process and diagnostic reports are incredibly thorough, some psychiatrists may wish to conduct their own assessment and we cannot guarantee outcome.
