Online therapy- support from the comfort of your own home

Transform your life with Solene Psychology

Online therapy

Access thoughtful, evidence-based psychological support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Online therapy offers flexibility and continuity of care, whether you’re navigating a busy schedule, living regionally, or simply prefer the ease of connecting from home.

Sessions are available via secure telehealth and can be accessed privately or under a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan (with a valid referral from your GP).

A Thoughtful, Individualised Approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Each person brings a unique history, set of strengths, and way of experiencing the world. My approach is collaborative, neuroaffirming, and grounded in respect for your individual needs, preferences, and pace.

I work with adults seeking support for a range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, emotional regulation, self-worth, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties. Together, we focus not only on reducing distress, but on building insight, resilience, and a deeper sense of alignment with what matters to you.

Evidence based modalities

My work integrates a range of well-established, evidence-based approaches, tailored to your goals and presentation:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – to build psychological flexibility and reconnect with values
  • Schema Therapy – to explore longstanding patterns and unmet emotional needs
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) – for processing trauma and distressing experiences
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches – to support awareness, grounding, and emotional regulation
  • Other integrative, evidence-based practices – adapted thoughtfully to suit you

These approaches are applied with care and intention, always guided by professional expertise and what feels most helpful and meaningful in your context.

Fees and rebates

  • Session fee: $220 per 50–60 minute session (subject to periodic review)

If you have a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, you may be eligible for a rebate when seeing a clinical psychologist. The current Medicare rebate for a clinical psychologist is approximately $145.25 per session, leaving an out-of-pocket gap.

Please note:

  • A valid referral from your GP is required to access Medicare rebates
  • Rebates are capped at a set number of sessions per calendar year (as per current Medicare guidelines)
  • Payment is required at the time of session, with rebates processed thereafter

If you intend to use private health insurance, you will need to check directly with your provider to confirm whether psychology services are covered and what rebates may apply, as this varies between funds and levels of cover.

Getting Started

Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or a general sense that something isn’t quite right, you are welcome here.
